The Prince of Wales has praised England’s national football team following their dramatic 2-1 defeat to Argentina in the FIFA World Cup semi-final, urging the players to “hold your heads high” after their dream of reaching the final came to an end.
Prince William, who serves as patron of the Football Association, shared an emotional message shortly after the final whistle, expressing both his disappointment and admiration for the team’s efforts throughout the tournament.
