In a major relief for government employees and pensioners, the Punjab government has announced early disbursement of May salaries and pensions on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha 2026.
According to an official notification issued by the provincial Finance Department, salaries and pensions for the month of May will be released on May 21, instead of the usual schedule.
The decision aims to facilitate employees and retirees in managing their expenses and preparations for the upcoming religious festival.
