Former first lady and wife of PTI founder Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi, was shifted from Adiala Jail to a private hospital in Rawalpindi on Wednesday for a medical examination before being transported back to prison under strict security arrangements.
According to sources, Bushra Bibi was taken to the hospital for a follow-up eye examination after recently undergoing surgery. Authorities ensured tight security during her transfer from jail to the medical facility, with police and security personnel deployed along the route to avoid any untoward incident.
Hospital sources said doctors carried out a routine post-surgery evaluation to assess her recovery progress. Following the completion of medical tests and consultation, Bushra Bibi was shifted back to Adiala Jail later in the day.
Sources revealed that Bushra Bibi had undergone eye surgery at a private hospital on April 17 and Wednesday’s visit was part of the scheduled follow-up treatment recommended by doctors.
