The United States military has claimed that more than 30 Iranian naval vessels have been destroyed since the outbreak of the current conflict, escalating tensions in the Middle East. According to Admiral Brad Cooper, chief of US Central Command, American forces recently struck an Iranian drone carrier ship, described as roughly the size of a World War II aircraft carrier, leaving it ablaze in international waters.
The attacks form part of a broader US campaign, dubbed “Operation Epic Fury,” aimed at weakening Iran’s naval power and curbing its ability to launch missile and drone strikes across the region.
