Pakistan exported fruits worth $260.630 million during the first nine months (July–March) of the current fiscal year 2025–26, according to the latest data released by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).
Official figures show that around 486,343 metric tons of fruits were exported during the period, reflecting a 3.18% increase in value compared to $252.655 million recorded in the same period last year.
However, export volumes slightly declined from 498,363 metric tons in the corresponding period last year, indicating a shift toward better pricing or higher-value produce in international markets.
The data highlights steady growth in Pakistan’s fruit export sector despite broader fluctuations in the country’s overall food exports, signaling resilience in agricultural trade.
Officials say efforts are underway to further boost exports by improving quality standards, expanding market access, and enhancing cold-chain logistics.
